On August 5, 2005, ELSIE L., beloved wife of the late Franklin Brand. Elsie is survived by two sisters, one brother, three grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and seventeen great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the family owned and operated Mc CULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME P.A., 237 E. Patapsco Ave, (Brooklyn) on Friday at 10 A.M. Interment private.more, died of lung cancer on August 8, 2005 at Johns Hopkins Bayview after a brief illness. Mr. Brawner was born February 9, 1927, in Thurmont, MD and he resided in Baltimore for nearly 40 years. Mr. Brawner was retired from the United States Army and served in Post WWII Germany and in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Eva G. Brawner, two sons, Ronnie D. Brawner, of Hampstead, and Richard R. Brawner, of Severn, three grandchildren, Erik D. Brawner, Candace N. Brawner, and Jenna M. Brawner, two sisters, Mary F. Wastler, Rita M. Reaver, and numerous nephews and nieces. Memorial services are scheduled for a later date.
