Art of the sea
Emily Mills' glasswork is bright, colorful and on display this month at ARTFX in Annapolis. The gallery is hosting a reception for her and her artwork on Sunday. While many of Mills' pieces from past collections feature a sea theme, she has added glass pendants strung with shells and fused shark teeth and other aquatic flotsam and jetsam to her work for this year's debut. Mills will also conduct a demonstration of her technique Aug. 18.
