On Monday, June 20, 2005, JOHN M. BOYD, SR., of Kannapolis, NC, formerly of Pasadena, MD. He attended Franklin and Marshall in Lancaster. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the American Legion. John retired from Bruning Paint Co. in Baltimore, MD in 1982 where he had been in Sales. He and his wife moved to Kannapolis, NC in 1999 to be near family. He was the husband of the late Jane Nickel Boyd. Survived by daughter Mary B. Ramseur and husband Todd of Kannapolis, NC; son John M. Boyd, Jr. and wife, Patrice of Pasadena, MD, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter Barbara A. Kirkpatrick There will be a celebration of Life and Luncheon at noon, Saturday, June 25 at Sarandos Restaurant, 1742 E. Joppa Rd., Towson, MD. Interment in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Lancaster, PA.
