Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Homicide/arrest: Christopher Nathan Porter, 17, no fixed address, was arrested Tuesday in Owings Mills by warrant task force members and U.S. marshals. He is charged as an adult with first-degree murder in the May 15 shooting of Damon Antwon Aldridge, 22, in a parking lot at the Woodington Garden Apartments.

Shooting: Wielding a stick, Richard Jones, 44, was chasing two men about 1 a.m. yesterday in the 500 block of Edgewood St. when he was shot in the neck. One of the men had flattened the tires of Jones' bicycle. Jones was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Central District

Shooting: Daniel Rockwell, 29, was walking toward a house in the 2000 block of McCulloh St. about 3 a.m. yesterday when a man standing in the vestibule who was robbing another man of drug money fired several shots. Rockwell was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center for a wound to his left shoulder.

Western District

Assault: Police were seeking a man known as "Tweezy" who pointed a shotgun to the head of a woman in the 600 block of N. Monroe St. about 6 p.m. Tuesday and accused her of snitching on another person.

Northern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Pinehurst Wine Shoppe in the 6200 block of Bellona Ave. of an undisclosed sum about 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Robbery/arrest: An 80-year-old woman was shopping in Food Lion on Hyde Park Road on Monday evening when a man stole her purse and fled in a car. Moments later, Officer Dennis Claridge stopped the car on Back River Neck Road and arrested the driver. Charged with unarmed robbery was Curtis O. Johnson, 43, no fixed address.

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: Two 16-year-old boys were walking in the first block of Sugarbury Court about 11 p.m. Monday when two older men, one armed with a handgun, forced them onto the ground and robbed them of a set of keys, a wallet and a cell phone.
