Capital Gazette wins special Pulitzer Prize citation for coverage of newsroom shooting that killed five



On June 18, 2005, GEORGE GARRETT "GARY" YEAKLE. Gary, a Baltimore native, graduated from Towson Catholic High in 1970 and soon founded G. Garrett Yeakle Exteriors Inc., his love of horticulture and a natural artistic ability allowed his company to flourish and produce some of the finest gardens in the Baltimore area. He devoted his life to this business and his family. Gary is survived by his loving parents Evelyn and Joseph Walter Yeakle, his brother David, his sister Patricia Karetis and her husband George Karetis. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may all at the Henry W. Jenkins Funeral Home, 16924 York Rd, Monkton, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday 10:30 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment at the East Vincent German Reform Cemetery in Chester County, PA at 2:30 P.M.
