Arrest: Brittany Kelly, 18, was arrested yesterday at the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on West 29th Street on a warrant charging her with arson. She is charged with setting a fire May 25 in a room at her home of the 4800 block of Gilray Court, causing an estimated $25,000 in damage.
Shooting: Keith Rice, 43, was walking in the 400 block of Whitridge Ave. about 3:30 a.m. yesterday when he was shot twice in the right leg by one of two men leaving a car. Rice was released after being treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Stolen vehicle: A green 1998 Dodge Stratus with tags GPM 364 was stolen over the weekend in the 500 block of S. Fulton Ave.
Burglary: Someone entered the South Baltimore Little League office in the 1100 block of E. Fort Ave. through a door window over the weekend and stole several T-shirts, candy and soft drinks.
Stabbing: While a man was making breakfast early Sunday at his home in the 2800 block of W. North Ave. for a woman he met Saturday night, the pair got into an argument over money he owed her and she stabbed him in the abdomen with a knife. He was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The woman was being sought.
Stolen vehicle: While a man was paying for fuel at a service station in the 900 block of N. Monroe St. about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, someone entered his 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier - whose engine was left running - and sped away.
Kidnapping/arrest: A 42-year-old woman was leaving her job in Parkton on Thursday when her estranged husband approached and asked her to drive him home. During the ride, he pulled out a gun and ordered her drive him to her home in Perry Hall. Early Friday, while the man was sleeping, the woman called police. Officers arrested the man and seized a Smith & Wesson handgun. Charged with kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon was Jeffrey Wiles, 43, of Foreston Road, Parkton.
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 600 block of Hillstead Drive on Sunday through a window after climbing onto an exterior heating oil tank and stole $460, a watch valued at $300, a checkbook and a pillowcase.
Burglary: Police were seeking two boys who stole two bicycles from the patio of a house in the 3300 block of Lauri Road over the weekend. One of the bikes was found on nearby Rolling Road after a witness chased the boys from the house.
