Burglary: A man confronted a male intruder who had entered his home in the 500 block of S. Sharp St. through a rear door about 1 a.m. Saturday. After chasing the intruder from the house, he discovered that a vase containing a large quantity of coins had been stolen.
Arrest: Davon Jackson, 26, of the 200 block of Ballou Court, charged in a warrant with attempted murder and a gun offense, was arrested Friday in the 200 block of E. Monument St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force. He is charged with shooting Ronrico Greenwood, 17, June 7 in the 1600 block of Gough St.
Theft: Someone entered the office of the Sunoco station in the 3000 block of Hollins Ferry Road about 2:30 p.m. Saturday and stole an undisclosed sum of money the manager had been counting before being called to the front of the station.

Burglary: While a woman was asleep Saturday morning and her husband was mowing the lawn in their back yard, someone entered their home in the 200 block of Sipple Ave. through a door and removed $500 from her purse.
Burglary: A Smith & Wesson .38-caliber nickel-plated chief's special revolver, $35 and two cartons of cigarettes were stolen Saturday from a house in the 3200 block of Texas Ave. by someone who entered through an unlocked basement door.
Robbery/arrest: A 34-year-old woman was walking in Owings Mill Mall about 8 p.m. Saturday when a boy stole a cell phone from her belt. Moments later, a 13-year-old was arrested by police at the nearby Metro station and charged as a juvenile. The phone was recovered.
