On Thursday, June 16, 2005, THOMAS W. COLE, III, after a long illness. Tom was born in Baltimore in 1929. He graduated from Loyola College class of 1951. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He started his broadcast career with WAQE Radio in Towson in 1960. He preceeded on to WCBM Radio for several years before entering television with WBAL Television, hosting Spare Time Bowling and Bowling for Dollars. He worked alongside with Vince Bagli with sports reporting. A change in his career took Tom into real estate, "Voice Over" work for radio and television and sales for many years. The Towson resident was 75. Tom is survived by his wife Kathryn "Corky" (nee Bonsall) Cole, of 46 years, devoted father of Thomas W. "Tucker" Cole, IV and Kathryn "Kacey" Jackson, grandfather of Alexander W. Jackson and Thomas W. "Ian" Cole, V, brother of Adele Lyness. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 21 beginning at 11 A.M. at the Church of the Nativity, 20 E. Ridgely Rd. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 10949 Beaver Dam Rd., Suite E, Hunt Valley, MD 21030.
