MRS. CLEMENTINE FRANCES (Simon) HUDDY, 94, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Skeet Club Manor in High Point, NC. Mrs. Huddy was born February 24, 1911 in Vandling, PA to the late Winfield and Mary Karnes Simon and lived most of her life in the Baltimore area. She retired in June of 1972 as a sales manager with W.T. Grants Departments Stores. She was formerly a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Brooklyn Park, MD., and currently a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Greensboro. Mrs. Huddy is survived by her children, Gerald M. Huddy and wife Elaine, Richard J. Huddy, Donald R. Huddy, and Dale P. Huddy; four grandchildren, Michael V. Huddy, Stephen P. Huddy and wife Angela, David Huddy and wife Donna, and Daniel Huddy and wife Shannon; four great-grandchildren, Nicole E. Huddy, Jordan M. Huddy, Allison Huddy, and Mason D. Huddy. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Maurice D. Huddy and daughter-in-law Judy Huddy. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the wonderful and caring family of staff at Skeet Club Manor where she has resided for the past seven years for all they did to make Mom's end of life as precious as she was. Also a special thank you to Sam King, RN and all the staff at Hospice of Greensboro for always being there when we needed them. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM tonight at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel, with a Prayer Service being held at 6:15 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM at Singleton Funeral Home in Glen Burnie, MD on Saturday, June 18, 2005. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
