On June 9, 2005, PAUL E. WRIGHT, 76, of Bedford, PA. He was born July 3, 1928 in Glade Spring, VA. Son of the late Thomas Roy and Catherine (Taylor) Wright. On November 17, 1950 in Albington, VA, he married Mary Ellen Lawerence and she survives along with a son James E. Wright and wife Marion, of Pasadena, MD; a daughter Sharon, wife of Stephen Mc Namara, of Bedford , PA; three grandchildren, Brian Thomas, Elizabeth Ann Wright, both of Pasadena, MD and Jamie Lee Boyd, of Bedford , PA; one great-granddaughter, Jaden Fuller, of Bedford, PA; a brother James Barclay, of Knoxville, TN. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Rebecca Wright; a grandson, Joshua Paul Boyd; a brother Thomas Wright and a sister Jane Sandefur. Mr. Wright was a member of the Grandish Presbyterian Church in Warrington, VA, the Bedford VFW Post 7527, the Sons of the Confederacy and the Powhatan American Legion. He was a Navy Veteran. He was retired from the Chessie System Railroad after 35 years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to call for a memorial gathering at the GARY L. KAUFMAN FUNERAL HOME AT MEADOWRIDGE MEMORIAL PARK, INC., on Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M., where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11 A.M. in the Vermillion Chapel. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions ay be made to the American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, PO Box 43025, Baltimore, MD 21236.
