On June 4, 2005, ENIKOE MARIACARPENTER, beloved wife of John H. Carpenter, devoted mother of John T. H. Carpenter, Margaret C. Beain and James A. Carpenter. She is survived by her brother, Csaba B. Hanyi, seven grandchildren, Robert and David Carpenter, Ana and Andrew Beain, Lydia and Taylor Carpenter and Jordan Rodgers, one niece, Tanja Hanyi and one nephew, Michael Hanyi. She was born in Kaposvar, Hungary and came to Baltimore in 1951, under the sponsorship of Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church. She remained a faithful member of the church for 54 years and served many roles, including leadership positions, choir and Women's Association. A Memorial service will be held at Brown Memorial Woodbrook Presbyterian Church, 6200 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21212, on Saturday, June 11 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brown Memorial Woodbrook Presbyterian Church.
