On June 2, CATHERINE T. LEWCZAK (nee Helowicz) died surrounded by her loving children and grandson. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, John S. in June, 1986. She was 92 years old and lived her entire life in Fells Point and Canton area. The past two years, she was a resident of Assisted Living Community Caritas House of Benson Avenue. She was a life long member of St. Stanislaus Kosta Church until it's closing. She was a member of the Miraculous Medal Sodality and the Joseph Center on Broadway. She is survived by her sons Francis J. and his wife Elizabeth of Georgetown, Delaware. Joseph M. and his wife Joan Flury of Baltimore; grandchildren P O I Francis A. Lewczak, USN stationed in Bahrain. Christopher J. Lewczak of Millsboro, Delaware. Lisa J. Eure and Justin A. Lewczak of Baltimore; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Alexander, Angela Lewczak, Brianna and Andrea Eure. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Bogdan Helowicz. She was predeceased by her sisters Stella Stronski, Julia Bolewicki and brother Frank Helowicz. Surviving are her sisters Helen Dzerwinski, Cecelia Stefanowicz and estranged sister Theresa Beksinski of Baltimore and brother Joseph Helowicz of Los Angeles, California. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK PA., 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Sunday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacared Heart of Jesus Catholic Church on Monday, 1 P.M. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday 7:30 P.M. Interment St. Stanilaus Cemetery.
