MAIOCCO, MARY IDA SPREZIAN

THE BALTIMORE SUN

MARY IDASPREZIAN MAIOCCO was called home by her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 29, at 12:30 A.M. 1918-2005. Mary was a native of Baltimore, Maryland, for most of her adult life. Though a life-long Yankee, Mary became an honorary Texan last summer when she moved with her husband Tony to be closer to her only daughter's family, which includes two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Mary celebrated a wonderful life with travel around the globe in her younger years and a reputation for being a first-class dancing partner to her husband Tony. Mary will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and mother-in-law. Mary is survived by her husband of 69 years, Anthony A. Maiocco of Katy, Texas; an only daughter, Lois Hopkins of Katy, Texas; one sister, Louise Cheicante of Baltimore, Maryland; and many more family and friends who will miss her dearly. May your spirit continue to shine through the stars in the heavens and may God be your dance partner for eternity. You are loved. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Friday, June 3, 2005 and funeral services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2005, at 12:30 P.M. The visitation and funeral service are both being held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas.
