Lillie E. Grofebert, 69, keypunch operator


Lillie E. Grofebert, a homemaker and former keypunch operator, died of cancer Tuesday at her home in Severna Park. She was 69.

Lillie Estelle Luckhard was born in Baltimore and raised in Brooklyn Park. She was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School and had worked as a keypunch operator for the old State Roads Commission and the Amsterdam Casualty Co.

She enjoyed fine dining and travel. A dog fancier, she was fond of Australian Silky terriers.

She was a member of American Legion Post 109 in Halethorpe.

Services were yesterday.

Mrs. Grofebert is survived by her husband of 33 years, Klaus W. Grofebert; a brother, Henry Kinsley of Annapolis; and a niece and nephew.
