On May 28, 2005, VERNON JAMES; devoted husband of Marie Disney (nee Hess); beloved father of Vernon J. Disney, II and his wife Bonnie and Darlene M. Italiano and her husband Peter. Also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter. He served in the 8th Army Air Force in WWII, retired from Proctor & Gamble after 40 years as an Industrial Engineer. He was a Mason for over 60 years. A member of both Scottish Rite & Boumi Shrine for over 50 years. An avid square dancer for many years. He and his wife Marie danced on a float in the Rose Bowl Parade in 1980. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. Mac Phail Road (at Rt. 24), on Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 P.M., where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 A.M. Interment Highview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Katie Italiano Memorial Scholarship Fund, PO Box 201, Fallston, MD 21047.
