Arrest: Ronald Faulcon, 34, was arrested Friday in the 200 block of N. Calvert St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of attempted murder. Faulcon, of the 1500 block of N. Gilmor St., is charged with shooting Towanda Myrick, 31, in the 500 block of Archer St. on May 14.
Victim identified: Darrell Banks, 37, whose address was not available, has been identified as the man found shot to death early Sunday inside a parked car in the 3200 block of Belmont Ave. Anyone with information is asked to call homicide Detective Eric Sharp at 410-396-2100.
Shootings/arrests: Two 16-year-olds have been arrested and charged as adults with attempted murder in the shootings of Terrence Jenkins, 25, and Karen Oakley, 43, near the intersection of Lafayette Avenue and Port Street about 5:30 p.m. Monday. Jenkins was shot in the left leg and Oakley in the right shoulder, and both were treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center were Chaz Wheeler of the 2900 block of Garrison Blvd., and Donnell Myers of the 1800 block of N. Port St.
Shooting/arrest: Vernon Johnson, 26, of the 1000 block of Appleton St. was arrested early Monday and charged with first-degree assault and a handgun violation in a shooting in his home about 1 a.m. His cousin, Steven Patterson, 16, was wounded in the abdomen and reported in critical condition at Shock Trauma. Police said Johnson was mishandling the gun about 1 a.m. when it fired.
Robbery: The owner of a 1996 Nissan Maxima was talking Monday morning to a man who supposedly wanted to buy his car. The man struck him in the chest, got into the car and drove off from the 8500 block of Liberty Road.
