Victim named: Kevin Donnell Butcher, 39, of the 3600 block of Liberty Heights Ave. was named by police yesterday as the victim of a fatal shooting Feb. 10 in the 3200 block of Chelsea Terrace. Butcher was seated in a car about 10:40 p.m. when he was shot by an unidentified assailant, said Detective Mark Hughes.
Robbery: One man was arrested and police were seeking another in the robbery Tuesday night of a pizza deliveryman in the 4000 block of Pinewood Ave. The victim, 38, was about to make a delivery about 9 p.m. when he was assaulted and robbed of the food and money. The victim sustained a broken arm and cheek bone. The name of the man arrested was not available.
Arrest: Shawn Byrd, 16, of the 400 block of E. Lorraine Ave., was arrested yesterday at Harbor City Alternative School by Warrant Apprehension Task Force members on a charge of attempted murder. The youth is charged as an adult with shooting Kamau Robinson, 32, on Dec. 28 in the 900 block of Bridgeview Road.
Burglary: A laptop computer valued at $3,800 was stolen Tuesday from an office in a Johns Hopkins medical research building in the 700 block of N. Broadway.
Armed robberies: A man armed with a knife robbed Kahne's Dollar Plus in the 7600 block of Belair Road of an undisclosed sum about 11:35 a.m. Tuesday. Police believe the same man also robbed Dot's Store in the 1400 block of Merritt Blvd. near Dundalk more than two hours later.
Robbery: A man, 20, was walking along Church Lane near Twin Lakes Court about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when a man armed with a knife robbed him of $15 and a cell phone.
