On January 21, 2005, from complications of Lung Cancer at St. Agnes Hospital, JAMES C. KNIGHTON, a CPA and Partner in the Firm Mc Gladrey and Pullen, Certified Public Accountants in Bethesda, MD. The Catonsville resident was 42. Jim graduated from Mt. St. Joseph High School in Baltimore in 1980, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. After graduating from Mt. St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, he joined the firm of CW Amos Company of Baltimore, which is presently Mc Gladrey and Pullen. Survivors include his wife, Michele D. Knighton (nee Sanchez); daughter, Gabby and sons Kyle, Joseph and Brooks. He is also survived by his mother, Mary G. Knighton, of Catonsville, his brother Mark J. Knighton, of Baltimore, Phillip M. Knighton, of Baltimore and sister Nancy K. Greer and her husband Pete, of Ellicott City. He is predeceased by his father Albert J. Knighton and his brother Joseph A. Knighton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Jim was an avid runner and shared his sports enthusiasm with his family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Mac Nabb Funeral Home, 301 Frederick Road in Catonsville (at beltway exit 13). A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 A.M. in St. Mark Church, 26 Melvin Avenue in Catonsville. Interment private.
