On Tuesday, January 18, 2005 ROYAL EMIL DUCHESNE, 98, of The Villages, FL. Born in Waterbury, CT. Beloved husband of Ruth Cox-Duchesne and the late Alma Lytle Duchesne; devoted father of Edward Duchesne of Maryland and step-son Kirway Cox of Montreal, Canada and six Duchesne nieces and nephews. Worked for Scovill Fastners, Inc., 1st as a professional tool and die maker, advanced to Regional Sales Manager in the Button, Fastner, and Zipper Division. His territory was from New York South. Retired after 49 successful years. He volunteered as Interim Manager for Memorial Garden Episcopal Senior Citizens Apartments and the Baltimore Fuel Fund. Mr. Royal was a member of the St. George Episcopal Church of The Villages since it's inception, he served as an ushers. Mr. Royal has been active in several Masonic Lodges in FL: The Villages Lodge #394, Tri-County Hi-12 #674, Plantation Hi-12 #719, Tavares Imperial #557, Scottish Rite-Orient of Florid, Bahia Shrine of Orlando, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Lakest #200, Lake County Shrine Club-Bahia Temple, as well as Order of The Eastern Star #100, Parkville Chapter, Maryland. Royal also was an Historian Member of OX-5 Aviation Pioneers, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Memorial service will be held Monday, February 7, 2005, 11 A.M. at Saint George Episcopal Church, The Villages, Florida. Inurnment in Maryland. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
