FLOYD, ROBERT M.

On Monday, January 17, 2005, at age 66, ROBERT M. FLOYD; beloved husband of Roberta H. Floyd; son of the late Alma Jordan and Leo L. Floyd; loving father of Shawn D. and Benjamin J. Floyd and Gretchen L. Demmin. He is survived by two sisters, Marilyn Morgan and Eileen Foley and one brother, Leo Floyd. Also survived by three grandchildren, Alex Floyd, Aubrey and Liam Demmin. He was the proprietor and accomplished chef of the former Berger's Colonial Restaurant of Pasadena, MD from 1965 to 1985. After relocating to Terra Alta, WV and Oakland, MD in 1991, he provided financial planning and accounting services to the community. He was former president of the Board of Directors of Alpine Lake Resort as well as the treasure of Oakland Lions Club. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Memorial services will be held January 22, 11 A.M. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 6 S. Second Street, Oakland, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
