On Sunday, January 16, 2005 WILLIAM CECIL HALL, 88, of Baltimore, formely of Disputanta. He was the son of the late Herbert L. and Ida E. Hall. Mr. Hall was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. He was also a member of the Hopewell VFW, Hopewell Moose Lodge #1472, and the Disputanta Ruritan Club. He was preceded in death by his first wife Rosa Lee Hall and is survived by his wife Bernice Hall of Maryland; two sons William C. Hall, Jr. and wife Rose of Prince George, Ronald Hall and wife Barbara of Colonial Heights; stepdaughter Joann Seidman and husband Sherald of MD; three step-sons Thomas Harris and wife Sue of Delaware, Robert Harris and wife Annie of MD, Dennis Harris of Gasburg; a devoted sister Virginia Bain of Spring Grove; four loving granddaughters, Sherry, Karen, Lori and Debbie; eight great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Wednesday, January 19, from 7 to 8:30 P.M. A funeral service will be held at Newville United Methodist Church on Thursday, January 20, at 11 A.M., with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
