Les Kinsolving off the air after surgery

Les Kinsolving, WCBM-AM's veteran conservative talk show host, is recuperating from triple bypass surgery after a heart attack Jan. 5.

Kinsolving was stricken at his Virginia home and had surgery at Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church. The prospects for a full recovery are excellent, said a statement posted on the WCBM Web site. Kinsolving, who is in his early 70s, hosts what he calls "uninhibited radio" weeknights from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Meanwhile, a station spokesman said yesterday, sports director Art Sinclair also had a recent heart attack recently. He's at Sinai Hospital.
