Board of Education to meet Wednesday in Westminster
The Carroll County Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Room 007 of the board offices, 125 N. Court St., Westminster.
The regular meeting agenda will be posted on the school system's Web site at www.carroll k12.org.
Meetings will be broadcast live on CETV, Channel 21 on Adelphia cable TV, and repeated at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sunday and the next Thursday, and 9 a.m. Saturday.

School board meetings open to public for feedback
The Carroll County School Board will hold public meetings to present and take comments on the public school system's operating budget for the 2005-2006 school year.
Meetings will be held as follows:
Wednesday at 2 p.m.: Presentation of the superintendent's proposed budget, Room 007, Board of Education offices, 125 N. Court St., Westminster.
Feb. 3 at 7 p.m.: Presentation of the superintendent's proposed budget at Oklahoma Road Middle School, 6300 Oklahoma Road, Eldersburg.
Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.: Presentation and adoption of the Board of Education's proposed budget at Westminster High School, 1225 Washington Road.

Early Childhood Job Fair scheduled for Wednesday
The Carroll County public school system will hold an Early Childhood Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cranberry Station Elementary School, 505 N. Center St., Westminster.
Participants can learn more about Carroll County schools and interview for teaching positions for the 2005-2006 school year.

CCC graduation honors physical therapy students
Carroll Community College recently held graduation ceremonies for its physical therapist assistant class.
Graduates included: Natasha Iula, Elizabeth Tatela, Jennifer Overeem, Debora Wall, Theresa Groft, Nicole Myers, Laura Buchanan, Alan Kinsler, Wade Schwartz, Allen Syring and Lucas McCollum. Buchanan also received an award for academic excellence.
Syring and McCollum earned awards for clinical excellence. The physical therapist assistant program held its graduation ceremony Dec. 16.
