Chamber of Commerce sets networking events

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce has announced its monthly meetings.

The Connections After Hours networking opportunity and business card exchange will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Carroll Arts Center, 91 W. Main St., Westminster. Participants can tour the county's renovated art deco theater that houses a 263-seat theater, art galleries, classrooms and offices. This is an informal gathering of members to network and exchange business cards. Reservations are required by Jan. 12.

The networking breakfast will be at 8 a.m. Jan. 25 at the Best Western Westminster Catering and Conference Center. Vickii Engle Thomas from the Center for Healing Arts will discuss "Stress Relief in the Workplace." She will offer tips on how to create a sense of peace and calm at work. The cost for the meal is $12. Reservations are required by Jan. 18.

The Chamber of Commerce is at 700 Corporate Center, Suite L, in Westminster.

Exhibit space available for spring business fair

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce will hold its 20th annual spring business fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 19 at TownMall of Westminster.

The chamber is taking reservations for space by companies that want to display their products and services.

Spaces cost $250 for an exhibit booth, $200 for a table only, and $100 for a nonprofit table for members; and $325 (booth), $275 (table), and $175 (nonprofit), for nonmembers. Electrical connections are $40.

Payment must be received before reservations are confirmed.
