Southeastern District

Robbery: Janice Kauffman, 39, was walking in the 200 block of S. Collington Ave. about 10 p.m. Monday when several teenage boys knocked her to the ground and stole her purse containing $40, a cell phone, credit cards and other property.

Robbery: A bandit entered John's Store in the 300 block of S. Highland Ave. about 8 a.m. Monday and forced an employee at gunpoint to give him the contents of a cash register. The gunman fled with more than $200.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Someone broke into Pat's Truck & Equipment Repair in the 4200 block of Erdman Ave. on Monday and stole tools, equipment and a 1987 Chevrolet truck with tags 5T09476.

Northern District

Burglary: Two 35 mm cameras worth a total of $430 were stolen Monday from a house in the 2900 block of Guilford Ave.

Burglary: A DVD player, 25 DVDs, a 35 mm camera and a telephone - all valued at $800 - were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 3200 block of N. Charles St. by someone who entered through the front door.

Western District

Robbery: A man who implied he had a handgun robbed a 43-year-old man of $20 in the 2100 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 11:40 p.m. Sunday.

Southern District

Shooting: An unidentified man was shot in a leg and buttocks about 8:30 last night on a street in Cherry Hill and taken to an area hospital. Police said the wounds were not life-threatening. A district officer on patrol heard the sound of gunshots and found the victim lying in the 900 block of Bridgeview Road, police said. No arrest had been made. Anyone with information is urged to call the district station at 410-396-2499.

Burglary: Someone broke into Shooter's Bar in the 300 block of S. Woodyear St. through a door early Monday and stole more than $500. Police said the burglar alarm had been turned off before the break-in.

Burglary: Tools valued at $2,300 were stolen Saturday from a house under renovation in the 1400 block of Hollins St. The intruder entered through the front door. The burglary was reported Monday.

Essex Precinct

Bank robbery: A man robbed Wachovia Bank at Martin Plaza in Middle River of an undisclosed sum of money about 12:15 p.m. Monday after giving a teller a holdup note.

Burglary: A large quantity of tools and a Model 6906 9 mm Smith & Wesson semiautomatic handgun with serial number TCY4415 were stolen over the weekend from Global Signs & Lighting in the 9900 block of Pulaski Highway. Entry was gained by knocking a hole in an exterior wall. The loss was estimated at $15,600.

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money and several 60-day temporary registration tags were stolen Monday from Snyder's Used Cars in the first block of Eastern Blvd. Entry was through the front door.

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: A deliveryman for Fortune China Restaurant was about to deliver food to a house in the first block of Saddlestone Court in Owings Mills about 6:30 p.m. Monday when three men, two with handguns, robbed him of more than $100.

Purse snatch: A 53-year-old woman was about to enter her home in the 1300 block of Sudvale Road about 12:10 a.m. Monday when a man stole her purse containing $80 and personal property. He fled in a car.

White Marsh Precinct

Theft/arrest: A Baltimore man, 21, was arrested yesterday as he tried to leave Hecht's in White Marsh without paying for shirts worth $180. Darnell Wilson of the 6800 block of Sturbridge Drive was charged with theft.

Theft/arrest: A 14-year-old girl was arrested yesterday and charged as a juvenile with stealing jewelry from the Icing, a store at White Marsh Mall. She was released to her parents.

Towson Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A silver 2001 Jeep Cherokee with tags AEG 72T was stolen Monday in the 100 block of Hopkins Road.
