Susan Browne, 62, of Windham, NH, died Sunday, December 26, 2004 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. Susan was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Helen K. Browne. She was raised in Catonsville, MD and had lived for many years at The Training School at Vineland, NJ. In 1999 she moved to Derry. Susan loved swimming, bowling, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed participating in Special Olympics. Susan shared her brother's love of horses, taking riding lessons at The Carriage Barn. She was a member of Wings of Change and the Salem Association of Retarded Citizens. Susan was known for her loving hugs. Susan leaves her brother, Stephen J. Browne and his wife Lynn of Medfield, MA, her sister, Marjorie B. Burdette and her husband William of Windham, NH, one niece, three nephews, her caregiver Pat Wnek and her many friends at WOC. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 29th from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2005 at 11:00am in the Windham Presbyterian Church.
