Victim identified: Police identified Miguel Beasley, 30, of the 1200 block of Comet Mews in East Baltimore yesterday as the man who was shot fatally in the head about 9 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of The Alameda. Beasley's death brought the city's homicide toll this year to 272, one more than the total for last year. No arrest had been made. Arrest: Latasha Fason, 20, was arrested Saturday near her home in the 300 block of S. Stricker St. by Southern District officers on a warrant charging her with attempted murder. She is accused of shooting Westport resident Marvell Morgan, 36, Dec. 14 in the first block of N. Gilmor St.
Robbery: Two women were in a carryout in the 1800 block of W. North Ave. about 2:35 a.m. Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, shoved them to the floor and robbed them of their purses, containing a total of $270.
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 900 block of N. Fremont Ave. on Sunday through a window and stole three stuffed gray elephants.
Robbery: A pizza deliveryman was getting out of his 2003 Honda Civic in the 4100 block of Towson Ave. about 7:15 p.m. Sunday when a man knocked him to the ground and stole the vehicle with tags MFT 743.
Theft/arrests: Two men were arrested about 6 p.m. Sunday and charged with stealing $168 worth of candy from the Royal Farms store in the 3600 block of Potee St. Arrested in a bar in the 3500 block of S. Hanover St. after a witness followed them were Richard Thomas, 42, of no fixed address and David Gress, 45, of the 1500 block of Appleton St.
Bank burglary/arrest: Police responding to a series of alarms early Sunday entered Wachovia Bank in the 3700 block of Washington Blvd. and found a man hiding in the ceiling. Charged with burglary and destruction of property and held in lieu of $250,000 bail was John Manning, 42, of the first block of Richbury Court.
Burglary: A laptop computer valued at $800 was stolen Sunday from a townhouse in the 1200 block of Punjab Drive.
Burglary: Power tools valued at more than $500 were stolen Dec. 14 from a storage closet at Reisterstown Lumber Co. in the 13000 block of Old Hanover Road. The burglary was reported Sunday.

Burglary: Tools and an air compressor were stolen Sunday from a locker at Eastpoint Self Storage in the 6800 block of Rolling Mill Road.
