Arrest: After the arrest last month of Charlie Matthews, 22, of the 3900 block of Erdman Ave. in the fatal shooting of Travis Bush, 31, of the 2700 block of Louise Ave., police continue to seek a second suspect, known as "Tony." Detective David Peckoo said Bush was shot Aug. 2 in the 1200 block of Appleleaf Court during an attempted robbery and died that day at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Anyone with information is urged to call Peckoo at 410-396-2100.
Arrest: Chris Keeling, 25, of the 200 block of Bethel Court was arrested Monday in the 300 block of N. Gay St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Gregory Garrison, 24, in the 1700 block of Lamont Court on Nov. 29.
Arrest: David A. Morris, 19, of the 2700 block of Berea Road, was arrested Monday at Central Booking and Intake Center by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the shooting Dec. 10 of Mustafa Rashid Carter, 18, in the 300 block of N. Fulton Ave. Morris was arrested moments after the shooting and charged with attempted murder. That charge was changed to first-degree murder when Carter died a day after the shooting.
Armed robbery/arrest: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a male, 18, of his wallet and cell phone in the 3900 block of Tivoly Ave. about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Moments later, police arrested Ramel Jackson, 23, of Northwood and charged him with armed robbery. The second man was being sought.
Robbery: Police were seeking a man posing as a repairman who forced his way into the home of an 88-year-old woman in the 5300 block of Pennington Ave. about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and robbed her of several pieces of jewelry and cash while threatening her with a box cutter.
Assault/arrest: A male, 16, was arrested Tuesday and charged as a juvenile with aggravated assault in the cutting that day of another male, 18, in the 3300 block of Granada Ave. About 4 p.m., the victim was walking down the street when someone got out of a van and cut him on the neck and back during a struggle. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital and released. Hours later, the suspect walked into Sinai for treatment of a laceration and was arrested there by police. The suspect was being held at the city's Juvenile Detention Center.
North Point Precinct
Stolen car/arrest: Officer James White spotted at Rolling Mill Road and Eastern Boulevard yesterday a 1998 Plymouth Neon that was stolen in the city Monday. White gave chase. With two police helicopters overhead and White and state troopers in pursuit on the Baltimore Beltway, the car exited onto southbound Harford Road. When the driver got out of the car at Putty Hill Avenue, he was arrested by White. Charged with auto theft was a male, 17, of the 2800 block of Lake Ave.
