Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Shooting: A teen-ager, 19, was reported in good condition at Union Memorial Hospital after being shot multiple times in an alley in the 2400 block of Barclay St. on Monday night. The victim was found by friends who drove him to the hospital.

Southwestern District

Shooting: Police responding to a report of an injured person at the Giant Food store in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave. at Edmondson Village on Monday night found a man who had been shot in the pelvis. An investigation showed the victim, 20, was shot in the 600 block of Glen Allen Drive and ran into the store seeking help. The victim was reported in good condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Western District

Shooting: Christopher Brown, 26, was walking in the 700 block of N. Payson St. about 10:30 p.m. Monday when an occupant of a passing car shot him in the right hip. Brown was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. There was no arrest.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: An in-dash stereo radio valued at $250 was stolen Monday from a 1994 Ford Taurus parked in the 2600 block of Madison Ave.

Southern District

Robbery: Austin Byrd, 30, was getting out of his 2000 Mitsubishi with tags LXV 107 in the 2700 block of Carver Road about 5:30 p.m. Monday when a man struck him in the face, grabbed his keys and stole the car.

Purse snatching: A woman, 79, was leaving Brooklyn Medical Center in the 3700 block of Potee St. about 2:20 p.m. Monday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property - all valued at $200.

Baltimore County

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: A man with a knife entered CVS Pharmacy in the 11600 block of Reisterstown Road about 4 a.m. Monday and forced an employee to give him more than $100 from a cash register.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Three digital video disc players, two cameras and a gift card - all valued at $1,160 - were stolen Monday from an apartment in the first block of Nightingale Way.
