Kitchen Kettle Village

Celebrate the season at "A Simply ... Old Fashioned Christmas" this weekend and next weekend at Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, Pa. The village, which features nearly 40 arts and crafts shops and food places, welcomes the holidays with old-fashioned activities, including cookie-decorating and ornament-making, as well as by offering free concerts, caroling, food and crafts demonstrations. Visitors will also find homemade and handmade gifts and goodies to purchase for the holidays.

Holiday house tour

Visit eight charming, holiday-decorated sites at the annual "Holiday Tour of Homes" on Saturday in Lititz, Pa. This year's tour, with the theme "Come Home to Lititz for the Holidays," showcases six decorated homes, a church and a bed-and-breakfast. Sites were decorated by local interior designers and homeowners. The 20th annual tour is sponsored by the Lititz Woman's Club.

Bethesda art

Take a guided holiday tour of downtown Bethesda galleries at the "Bethesda Art Walk" tomorrow. Learn about the area's galleries, tour studios and peruse current exhibits. Walkers can choose from two tours -- one visiting the Woodmont Triangle galleries and one visiting the Bethesda Row/Wisconsin Avenue galleries. Also, walkers will enjoy hearing holiday caroling from strolling singers along the routes.
