Trends: With a 10-day break after their traditional home Thanksgiving game, the Cowboys are 23-13 the next week. The Seahawks counter with RB Shaun Alexander, who entered Week 13 leading the NFL in rushing yards with 1,190 and the NFC in rushing TDs with 10.

Attractions: The Cowboys go back to QB Vinny Testaverde because Bill Parcells believes they still can make the playoffs in the lame NFC. The Seahawks need a win badly after the worst loss in coach Mike Holmgren's career (38-9 vs. Buffalo).

NEXT WEEK

Jets (9-3) at Steelers (11-1): Jets lead the race for the top wild-card spot in the AFC. Steelers are on the verge of dethroning the Ravens in AFC North.

Seahawks (6-5) at Vikings (7-5): Both teams are fighting for division titles, but a late slide by either would drop them into the wild-card scramble.
