Westminster mall to hold blood drive, holiday events

TownMall of Westminster has announced its December holiday events:

Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.: American Red Cross blood drive next to Gordon's Jewelers.

Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.: Kids Club with Candy and Cupcake.

Thursday to Dec. 31: The Baltimore Area N-Track Club will display its 4,000-square-foot train layout next to Belk. Visitors can enter a drawing to win a train set.

Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Angelica of the children's cartoon show Rugrats will greet shoppers and their children in Steve & Barry's Court.

Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Shoppers can bring their pets for photos with Santa. Proceeds will benefit Animal Rescue of Maryland Inc.

Chamber of Commerce to hold networking event

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Connections After Hours networking opportunity and business card exchange from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 21 at the Respite Inn at CHANGE Inc., 638 Deer Park Road, Smallwood.

The Respite Inn offers respite care from a few hours to a week to caregivers and families of developmentally disabled individuals.

Connections After Hours is an informal gathering of members to network and exchange business cards. Reservations are required by Dec. 14.

Jones Lang LaSalle to manage TownMall

TownMall of Westminster has announced that Jones Lang LaSalle has been awarded leasing and management responsibilities for the shopping center by Radiant Partners Inc. and Cranberry Mall Properties LLC.

TownMall of Westminster is a 614,741-square-foot shopping center anchored by Boscov's, Belk, Sears and Steve & Barry's University Sportswear.

Jones Lang LaSalle's regional leasing manager, Kimli Cross, will handle leasing.

Jones Lang LaSalle is a real estate services and money management firm with a portfolio of approximately 800 million square feet of property under management worldwide, including more than 280 shopping centers on four continents.
