Because of an editing error, an article in yesterday's editions about the Peanut Shoppe said its new location will be across from a proposed Starbucks. In fact, the Starbucks already exists at Hanover and Baltimore streets.

An article in yesterday's Today section listed an incorrect phone number for tickets to a Baltimore Chamber Orchestra concert. The correct number is 410-426-0157.

An article in the Nov. 25 editions about a controversy over a National Geographic map of the Persian Gulf contained a statement incorrectly attributed to the Iran National Front USA. The statement, posted on the Iran National Front Web site, was issued by a separate Iranian nationalist organization, the Marze Por Gohar Party.

Because of an editing error in the Nov. 7 Public Editor's column, a quote used to describe the debate over moral values was incorrectly attributed to Sun Washington bureau reporter Susan Baer. The quote, referring to gay and lesbian issues, should have been attributed to Vicki Gordy.

The Sun regrets the errors.
