On October 26, 2004, at her home after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease, THEDA RAEBURN HOPKINS, "Teddy", 81, of Cockeysville. Born October 9, 1923, in Port Henry, NY, on a beautiful farm called Edgemont, she graduated from Oberlin College of Ohio and Johns Hopkins Medical School. She was a devoted wife, mother, friend and doctor. She loved music, gardening, cooking, reading and caring for her chickens and goats. Teddy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edward W. Hopkins and her sister Rhoda Collins. She leaves one son and four daughters: Thomas E. Hopkins, of Cockeysville, Salley Meisel, of Bel Air, Holly Hopkins, of Brodbecks, PA, Amy Hopkins, of New Freedom, PA, Laura Hopkins, of City Island, NY, as well as eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
