Southeastern District

Victim named: A man fatally shot July 21 while seated in a parked car in the 400 block of N. Rose St. has been identified as William Ferebee, 27, of the 5900 block of St. Regis Road. No arrest has been made, and anyone with information about the killing was urged to call Detectives Vernon Parker or Thomas Martin at 410-396-2100.


Burglary: A 25-inch television, DVD player and jewelry - all worth $2,385 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 300 block of S. Conkling St.

Theft: While an employee was outside Theresa's Deli in the 1600 block of Aliceanna St. taking a smoke break about 3 p.m. Tuesday, a man entered, jumped over the counter and removed $150 from a cash register.

Central District

Robbery: Two men robbed the One West Gourmet Coffee Bar in the first block of W. Biddle St. of $200 and a telephone about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Southern District

Robbery: A man gave a holdup note to a cashier at a Rite Aid store in the 900 block of E. Fort Ave. about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday and was given more than $100. Before fleeing, the man told the cashier, "I hate to do this, but my daughter is in the hospital."

Wilkens Precinct


Burglary/arrest: A male resident of the 3000 block of Bero Road returned home about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and saw a neighbor fleeing with clothing valued at nearly $500. The occupant called police, who entered the neighbor's home and found him in a closet. Arrested and charged with burglary was Delando Austin, 22. The clothing was recovered.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: A 60-inch television, video games, DVD player, DVDs, a laptop computer and 22-inch car wheel rims were stolen from a house in the 3800 block of Brownhill Road while the occupants were away between July 20 and Tuesday.
