On July 14, 2004 ELVA M., beloved mother of Elva Thornton, Evelyn O'Neal, Jerome Kenny, Donald, Joseph and Walter Banks. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, fourty-six great grandchildren, one sister Mildred Tucker, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Friends may visit the JAMES A. MORTON & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 311 Main Street, Monday 2 to 8 P.M. On Tuesday Mrs. Banks will lie in state at Shiloh Baptist Church of Edgemere, 2501 Sycamore Avenue. The family will receive friends 10:30 to 11 A.M. followed by services. Interment Arbutus Memorial Park.
