Baltimore City


Southeastern District

Victim named: Brian Roberts, 22, of the 3200 block of Cliftmont Ave., was identified yesterday as the man fatally shot early Monday in the 200 block of N. Highland Ave. No arrest had been made. Anyone with information was urged to call Detective Corey Alston at 410-396-2100.


Southern District

Victim identified: Police yesterday named Vincent Fitzgibbons, 47, of the 500 block of Gittings St., as the man fatally stabbed Tuesday morning near his home during an argument with another man. Charles Norfolk of the 1700 block of Covington St.

Eastern District

Shooting: A 17-year-old boy was shot in the head about 2:15 a.m. yesterday in the 100 block of N. Montford Ave. and was listed in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Arrests: Three men have been arrested and charged with carjacking a 2002 Ford Focus and abducting its female driver at gunpoint as she was refueling at a gas station in the 2400 block of E. North Ave. about 1 a.m. Tuesday. The woman jumped from the car and was treated at Union Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. In Southeast Baltimore, police spotted the car and arrested its three occupants.

Central District

Burglary: Three televisions, a drill and a saw -- all valued at $526 -- were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 1800 block of St. Paul St.

Franklin Precinct

Armed robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, entered the KFC restaurant in the 7100 block of Liberty Road about 9:35 a.m. Tuesday through a rear door, sprayed its employees with a chemical irritant, bound them with tape and fled with an undisclosed sum of money.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: A 25-year-old Anne Arundel County man was arrested Tuesday when he tried to leave the Mars supermarket in the 7200 block of Holabird Ave. without paying for meat products valued at $77.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Three computers and cash were stolen from Smart Associates in the 500 block of Washington Ave. between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
