Southern District

Death investigated: Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy in the death of a man whose body was found Monday afternoon by his girlfriend in the living room of his home in the 3500 block of Round Road with a large knife wound to the neck. Detective Robert Dohony said Khari Brunson, 22, who was bipolar, drank bleach and may have overdosed on medication before apparently stabbing himself with a butcher knife.


Robbery/arrest: An employee of Papa John's in the 1200 block of S. Hanover St. was about to make a night deposit at a nearby bank Monday afternoon when a man wielding a knife robbed him of three bank bags containing an undisclosed sum in cash and checks. The employee followed the man to a house in the first block of W. Cross St., where he was arrested and the money recovered. Charged with armed robbery was Gregory Long, 30, of the West Cross Street address.

Central District

Robbery/arrest: A woman, 20, was walking in the 400 block of E. Baltimore St. about 4 a.m. yesterday when a man robbed her of $7. The man fled east toward the district police station with the woman yelling at him, and he was arrested by officers standing near their patrol cars. Charged with unarmed robbery was Roderick Oliver, 37, of the 1400 block of Aisquith St.

Northeastern District

Shooting: A 33-year-old man was shot several times about 11:45 p.m. Monday as he stood in the 3200 block of Elmley Ave. He was reported in good condition at Hopkins Hospital.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Bank robbery: A man robbed Sun Trust Bank in the 9700 block of York Road about 1:30 p.m. Monday after giving a teller a note that read, "In the name of God, please give me all your money. I have a gun."


Essex Precinct

Burglary: Tattoo equipment and cash were stolen from a house in the first block of High Seas Court over the weekend.
