Southern District

Arrest: Kevin Fletcher, 16, was arrested Wednesday in the 1700 block of Montpelier St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of first-degree murder. Fletcher, of the 4100 block of Morrison Court, is charged as an adult with fatally shooting Tidell Harris, 23, on June 1 in the 1600 block of Hazel St. in Curtis Bay. Fletcher is being held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Stabbing/arrest: Several people were playing cards in a house in the first block of S. Carey St. about 10 p.m. Wednesday when an argument broke out and moved outside. Mitchell Brown, 43, of the first block of S. Fulton Ave. was stabbed in the left eye and lower back by a woman wielding a steak knife. Arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon was Valerie Stanley, 37, a resident of the dwelling. Brown was reported in good condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Burglary/arrest: A 10-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday and charged as a juvenile with entering an apartment in the 1700 block of W. Pratt St. and stealing $13.

Southeastern District

Arrest: Dennis James Jr., 17, was arrested Wednesday at his home in the 1300 block of Ballard Way by the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of attempted murder. James is charged as an adult with shooting Morris Fisher, 39, in the chest and right hand near the victim's Bonsal Street home on June 3.

Central District

Purse snatch: A woman was standing in the 500 block of N. Eutaw St. about 8 a.m. Wednesday when a man asked her for a light and she complied. When the woman declined his offer to give her a quarter for the light, he grabbed her purse and fled. The loss in property and cash was put at $180.

Burglary: Jewelry, two watches, a computer, Palm Pilot and digital camera - all worth nearly $3,000 - were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 400 block of N. Charles St.

Theft: A radar detector and several compact discs - all valued at $700 - were taken Wednesday from a Toyota Camry in the 100 block of W. Monument St.

Essex Precinct

Armed robbery: Three males, one with a handgun, robbed a youth of $45 while the victim and two friends walked in the 1600 block of Gail Road about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Burglary: Two televisions, a combination DVD/VCR, stereo equipment, sofa, computer and video games - all valued at $2,780 - were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1600 block of Dartford Road.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary/stolen vehicle: Someone broke into a house in the first block of Timber Park Court Wednesday, stole a set of keys and drove away in the owner's 1996 Ford Explorer, which had been parked in a garage. A short time later, the vehicle was recovered nearby after the thief drove it into a fence.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: Thirty tires were stolen Wednesday from a storage container at Vogue Tires in the 11200 block of Reisterstown Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A 1997 Ford Crown Victoria Diamond cab with tags 33340B was stolen Wednesday in the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway.
