Baltimore City


Southeastern District

Robbery/arrest: A 16-year-old boy was arrested shortly after noon Saturday and charged with robbing a woman minutes earlier in the 100 block of N. Montford Ave. The victim, 46, was walking down the street when a male, implying he was armed, robbed her of her purse containing jewelry, a cell phone and $200. She flagged down a police officer, who arrested the suspect nearby and recovered her property. Charged as an adult with armed robbery and related offenses and held at Central Booking and Intake Center was Gerald Harris of the 1100 block of N. Calvert St.


Robbery: A man robbed Little Tavern in the 3500 block of Eastern Ave. of $28 about 5:10 a.m. Saturday by threatening an employee with a note saying he had a syringe containing HIV-contaminated blood.

Burglary: A miter saw and several hand tools - all valued at $725 - were stolen Saturday from a house under renovation in the 2200 block of E. Lombard St.

Southwestern District

Theft: Police were seeking a woman who allegedly entered her ex-boyfriend's home in the first block of N. Rosedale St. on Saturday and stole a 9 mm German Luger semiautomatic handgun valued at $1,200 that was under his mattress.

Eastern District

Robbery try/shooting: A gunman attempting to rob a 38-year-old man in the 900 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. about 6:30 a.m. Saturday shot him in the upper left leg. The victim was released after treatment at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Theft: A white box trailer containing an undisclosed amount of candy products was stolen Saturday in the 1500 block of Beason St.


Theft: CDs valued at $300 were stolen Saturday from a 2004 Ford Expedition parked in the 1100 block of S. Hanover St.

Northwestern District

Robbery: Police were seeking a gunman who robbed a deliveryman for Ming Fong Restaurant of $80 and a cell phone while the victim was making a food delivery in the 5300 block of Peerless Ave. about 11:50 p.m. Friday.

Theft: A Ruger .38-caliber handgun was stolen over the weekend from a house in the 5500 block of Wilvan Ave.

Stolen vehicle: Over the weekend, a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu with tags MCG 701 was stolen in the 3900 block of Maine Ave.

Baltimore County


Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: About 3 a.m. Saturday, two men, one with a sawed-off shotgun, robbed the 7-Eleven store in the 11200 block of York Road of $315 in cash and merchandise - several packs of cigarettes and cigars.

Parkville Precinct

School vandalism: An intruder broke at least nine windows at Parkville High School in the 2600 block of Putty Hill Ave. with rocks early Saturday, then entered a classroom and damaged computers and other property.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A blue Yamaha dirt bike and a child's scooter were stolen Saturday from a shed in the 2300 block of Ruth Ave.


Burglary: A gas grill was stolen over the weekend from the back yard of a house in the 1800 block of Kinship Road.

Burglary: A chain saw was stolen Saturday from a shed in the 1800 block of Marshall Road.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: A dirt bike was stolen between June 3 and Saturday from a garage in the 13000 block of Old Hanover Road.
