Kimberly Ann Shipley, a nurse and former Glen Burnie resident, died of a heart attack Tuesday at her home in Westover, W.Va. She was 34.
Born Kimberly Ann Montgomery in Baltimore, she was raised in the city's Remington section. She attended city public schools and earned a General Educational Development diploma.
Mrs. Shipley moved to Preston County, W.Va., in 1996, and later earned a nursing diploma from Morgantown Vocational Center in West Virginia. She had been employed as a nurse at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, W.Va.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Mark Shipley; three sons, Mark Shipley Jr., Shane Shipley and Tyler Shipley, all of Westover; a daughter, Taylor Shipley of Westover; her parents, Duane and Joyce Connell Montgomery, both of Kingwood; and a brother, Duane Montgomery Jr. of Kingwood.
