Scott Dooley and Adam Doneger countered by scoring a pair of goals, including Doneger's second two-pointer of the season, to narrow the gap to 20-19, but that was as close as the Pride (1-2) got.

Bayhawks midfielder Paul Cantabene set an MLL record by winning 29 of 40 faceoffs. He set another league record by recording 22 ground balls, shattering the mark held by Long Island's Jay Jalbert.

Making his first pro start two days after being picked in the second round of the MLL draft, goalkeeper Mike Levin made 16 saves for the Bayhawks.
