Meals on Wheels seeks sponsors for place mats

Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland is seeking eight businesses or corporations to provide funding for the production of place mats to be used by clients in the Baltimore area.

The two-sided 11-inch-by- 17-inch place mats will provide meal content information, inclement weather instructions, a meal delivery schedule and a list of emergency supplies to keep on hand.

Business sponsors will have a 4-inch-by-4-inch corner of the place mat on which to advertise.

The place mats will be distributed in the summer to about 1,560 clients and to new clients who start receiving Meals on Wheels service.
