Shootings: Two teen-age boys were reported in critical condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital - both shot in the upper body late Sunday by an unknown assailant in the 1600 block of E. Preston St. Their names were not released.
Arrest: Ayinde DeLeon, 18, was arrested Sunday at his home in the 3100 block of Howard Park Ave. on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. DeLeon is accused in the shooting of Melvin Jones, 31, of the 3300 block of St. Ambrose Ave. on March 27 in the 3800 block of Penhurst Ave.
Robbery: A man, 23, was walking in the 5800 block of Loch Raven Blvd. about 11:15 p.m. Sunday when a gunman robbed him of his wallet containing $7.
Burglary: Someone shattered the display window of Gian Marco Menswear in the first block of S. Charles St. early yesterday and stole clothing and shoes valued at $830.

Theft by trick: Between April 9 and April 15, two men posing as roof installers bilked a female resident of the 1200 block of Neighbors Ave. out of $8,420. After the woman gave the men $740 for materials, they convinced her that more money was needed to complete the work. No work was performed.
Assault: Three males and a female were riding in a car on Security Boulevard near Belmont Avenue about 3 a.m. Sunday when an occupant of another car fired several shots into their vehicle. No one in the car was hit, but one male was cut by shards of glass from a shattered window and was treated at St. Agnes HealthCare.
Robbery try/arrest: A 17-year- old boy assaulted an employee of Shopper's Friend in the 8200 block of Liberty Road and stole a cash drawer the employee was carrying to the store office. The would-be robber was caught by employees, however, and held for police. The youth was charged as a juvenile with assault and attempted robbery.
