CELIA LOUISE HAWKINS, 77, of Curtis Dr., Mooresville, died Monday, April 5, 2004, in Lenoir, NC. Born April 4, 1927, in Gamewell, NC, she was a daughter of the late James Rufus and Nellie Rebecca Nelson Oliver. Mrs. Hawkins was a homemaker. She was a member of Strait Way Baptist Church of Statesville, where she was a member of the Ruth Fellowship, Senior Adult Sunday School class and Home Visitation. Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Paxton Hawkins. She is survived by her children, Larry E. Triplett, of China Grove, and Serita Blair, Brenda Ridenour, Theresa Lohrig, Pamela Genco, Carl L. Hawkins and Deborah Pattison, all of Baltimore, MD; brother, Carl Oliver; sisters, Nora Morgenthaler, Pauline Triplett, Elizabeth Rodgers and Nancy Huffman; ten grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M., Monday, April 12, 2004, at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, Dundalk, MD. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 P.M., Monday, in the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M., Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Lake View Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD.
