Carolina (19-5, 9-4) shot 50 percent from the field in the second half en route to the win.
Delvona Oliver finished with 14 points and six rebounds for the Terps (15-10, 7-7).
UMBC 48, New Hampshire 47: Maria Brown (16 points) scored five points in the closing 1:07, including a game-winning jumper with 17 seconds left, to lift the Retrievers (3-19, 3-10 America East) over the Wildcats (9-13, 5-8) in Durham, N.H.
Maren Matthias finished with 15 points for New Hampshire.
Mount St. Mary's 69, Robert Morris 53: Antonio Johnson scored a career-high 21 points on 9-for-9 shooting from the field, including 3-for-3 from behind the arc, to lead the host Mount (7-17, 5-9 Northeast Conference) past the Colonials (12-12, 9-6).
Chaz McCrommon led Robert Morris with 14 points.
David Brooks had 19 for Niagara, and Charlie Bell led the Greyhounds (1-23, 1-14) with 16.
Hood 88, Christendom 58: Santo Provenzano and Sean Robine combined for 41 points to power the host Blazers (12-11) past the Crusaders (10-12) in Frederick.
Pat Vander Woude had 17 points for Christendom.
