Shooting: An unidentified man was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after being shot in the head by an unknown gunman in the 2200 block of E. Monument St. about 4:30 p.m. yesterday.
Aggravated assault: Police were seeking a man who attacked Bill Weidman, 37, outside his house in the 6100 block of Belair Road about 2:40 p.m. Monday during an argument and struck him with a shovel. Weidman refused treatment for minor face and hand injuries.
Theft: Police were seeking a man who entered A&N; Mini Mart in the 3200 block of Eastern Ave. about noon Monday and stole a jar containing at least $300 that had been collected for a charity.
North Point Precinct
Arrest: A 16-year-old boy was arrested Monday in the 200 block of Jasmine Road while driving a 1989 Ford Escort that had been stolen Jan. 2 in the 7000 block of Belclare Road.
Burglary: Someone broke into Guitar Center in the 1500 block of E. Joppa Road through a side door early Monday and stole 18 guitars -- all valued at $17,449.
Burglary: Someone entered Charm City Gallery in the 400 block of York Road through a second-story window Monday and stole $50.
Robbery: Scott Sener, a deliveryman for Salvino's Pizzeria in Pikesville, was about to deliver food to a house in the 100 block of Harry Lane about 8:30 p.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of more than $200.
Robbery: An employee of United Insurance Co. was walking down the stairs of a commercial building in the 3100 block of Lord Baltimore Drive about 1:45 p.m. Monday when a man armed with a knife robbed him.
Burglary: Someone entered the home of a Baltimore police officer in the 6600 block of Kincheloe Ave. Saturday and removed his police-issued Glock Model 22 9 mm semiautomatic handgun from a closet.

Burglary: A DVD player, 16 DVDs and 50 compact discs -- all valued at $755 -- were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 2000 block of Kelbourne Road.
