Arson: Someone used a flammable liquid to set fire to the rear of a house in the 3600 block of Woodbine Ave. early Sunday, causing $2,000 damage. No injuries were reported.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Little Tavern in the 3500 block of Eastern Ave. of $59 about 10:15 p.m. Monday.
Burglary: Stereo equipment, two speakers, two videocassette recorders, a DVD player and cash were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 2900 block of Baker St. by someone who entered through the front door.
Robberies/arrest: One man was arrested and police were seeking another in the robberies late Monday of two pizza shops. About 11:25 p.m., two men, one with a handgun, robbed Maryland Pizza & Subs in the 900 block of Leeds Ave. of about $200. Ten minutes later, two men fitting their descriptions robbed Today's Pizza in the 500 block of North Bend Road of an undisclosed sum. As they rode away, one of the bandits fired errant shots at employees following them. The employees gave police the tag number and, at Baltimore and Hilton streets, city and county police recovered the car and nearby arrested Ryan Scott, 19, of the 500 block of Lucia Ave. on a charge of armed robbery.
Burglary: Video games and accessories valued at $200 were stolen Monday from a house in the 7400 block of Old Harford Road by someone who entered through a rear door.
