BANNON, RUTH L.

RUTH L. BANNON, age 87, of Seaford, DE., formerly of Baltimore, MD., died on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Bannon retired from the A & P Food Company in Baltimore, MD. She was a member of the Acorn Club, the Garden Club and the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Her first husband, Donald Johnson died in 1995. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne & Betty Johnson of Bridgeville and her daughter, Gail Stevens of Parkton, MD. Also surviving are five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be on Monday, January 26, 2004, at 6 PM at the CRANSTON FUNERAL HOME, 300 N. Shipley St., Seaford, where friends may call from 4 to 6. Burial will be on Tuesday at 1 PM at Lorraine Park Cemetery, 5608 Dogwood Rd., Baltimore, MD.
