Born Mary Theresa Griffiths in Bray County, Wicklow, Ireland on November 25, 1919, she immigrated to the United States with her husband George and her two children, Murray and Barry in 1949. Several years later, her two daughters, Maureen and Colleen were born. An avid fan of the old hollywood movies and stars, May enjoyed her final years in California. Her in-depth knowledge of European History and Politics provided lively and insightful discussions with her grandchildren, son-in-law and daughter around the dinner table up to just a few days before her passing.
